What is a head spa?
A head spa is a treatment focused on the scalp. At Serenity it combines a scalp exam, herbal wash, deep cleansing, a scalp scrub, warm herbal steam, massage and a finishing blow-dry — deep care for the scalp and a deeply relaxing experience at the same time.
How long does a scalp spa take?
Our Standard scalp spa is 60 minutes, and the Royal Treatment and Royal Deluxe are 90 minutes each. The scalp exam at the start is not counted against your treatment time. Combos run from 60 to 120 minutes.
What is the difference between Royal Treatment and Royal Deluxe?
Both are 90 minutes and $135. Royal Treatment adds a cleansing facial, face massage and hydration face mask. Royal Deluxe skips the facial and gives you extended massage time plus a scalp gua sha detox instead.
Will my hair be washed and dried?
Yes — all three scalp spa treatments include an herbal wash, deep cleansing and a hair blow-dry. If you'd like your hair styled afterward, add Hair Styling for $30. Our scalp massage and Massage Combo use essential oil without shampoo.
How often should I get a head spa?
Many guests enjoy a scalp spa every two to four weeks as part of their routine, while others book one for special occasions or whenever they need to recharge. Our team can suggest a rhythm that suits your scalp.
Ear spa, Shirodhara & combos
What is an ear spa?
Ear spa is a gentle, relaxing care ritual for the outer ear using fine tools and soft feather brushes. The quiet, close-up sounds create an ASMR-style relaxation. Choose Artist Ear (30 min, $45), Soul Ear with scalp massage (60 min, $85) or the Ear Combo with scalp and foot massage (90 min, $125).
What is Shirodhara?
Shirodhara is a calming therapy in which a slow, steady stream of warm oil flows across the forehead. It is available as a 30-minute add-on for $55 and is included in the True Royal Combo.
What is body moxibustion?
Body moxibustion is a warming herbal treatment. Ours pairs herbal care with a soft LED warming light while you rest. It is included in the Relaxing, Authentic and True Royal combos, and the Authentic and True Royal combos also include moxibustion eye recovery.
Do combos really save money?
Yes. The Massage Combo is $85 (value $90), the Authentic Combo $185 (value $205), the Relaxing Combo $195 (value $215) and the True Royal Combo $225 (value $260). Combo items depend on same-day availability.
